Job summary

Watercrest Senior Living is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to oversee upkeep of our Austin communities. You will apply your building and managerial know-how to maintain the health, safety, and cleanliness of our residents, families, visitors, and associates.

You will assist with housekeeping and all plant operation needs, perform general repairs, plan maintenance, and support emergency procedures while upholding our servant leadership culture and compliance with FHA/ADA and

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Two years in a senior living environment.
Five years hands-on building maintenance experience.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
Familiarity with FHA, ADA, and building codes.

Responsibilities

Display Servant Leadership qualities and confident decision making.
Maintain interior and exterior appearance for residents, families, visitors, and staff.
Inspect front entrance daily to ensure a great first impression.
Perform general repairs (drywall, painting, doors).
Maintain building systems with routine maintenance.
Assist with ordering supplies for maintenance and housekeeping.
Follow safety procedures and emergency plans.
Assist with onboarding of new hires and housekeeping management.
Respond to resident and staff requests in a timely manner.
