Watercrest Fredericksburg is seeking a Maintenance/Environmental Services Technician to help oversee the upkeep of our senior living community in Fredericksburg, VA. You will perform repairs, maintain building systems, and support housekeeping to ensure a clean, safe environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Two years in the senior living environment
• Five years hands-on maintenance experience in a senior living setting

Responsibilities

• Display servant leadership and confident decision making.
• Walk through the interior and exterior of the community to maintain appearance for residents, families, visitors, and associates.
• Inspect the front entrance daily to ensure visitors receive a great first impression.
• Perform general repairs that do not require a specialized technician (e.g., drywall, painting, doors).
• Assist with onboarding for new hires and manage the housekeeping department under Watercrest guidelines.
• Follow state regulations and company policies and assist with surveys and inspections.
• Know emergency procedures and assist in managing emergencies.
• Respond promptly to requests from residents, families, guests, and associates.
