Job summary
Charter Senior Living of Vinings in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Environmental Maintenance Director to lead all maintenance, safety, and environmental operations within our assisted living community. This leadership role focuses on resident safety, comfort, and quality of life, overseeing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, preventative maintenance, and life-safety compliance.
A hands-on, service-driven leader with a valid driver’s license is required.
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance leadership experience (senior living preferred).
- Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
- Understanding of life safety and regulatory compliance.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Strong communication and customer service mindset.
Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance operations and safety programs.
- Manage preventative maintenance schedules and work orders.
- Ensure resident apartments and common areas are safe and operational.
- Coordinate with vendors and departments to support care.
- Support transportation needs as required.
