Job summary

Charter Senior Living of Winder, GA is opening a new senior living community and seeks a hands on Maintenance/Environmental Services Director to lead the startup and ongoing operations. The role will establish preventative maintenance, manage budgets, coordinate vendors, and ensure safety and occupancy readiness as residents move in.

The successful candidate will oversee maintenance across resident apartments and common areas, implementing processes from day one and building a strong foundation

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or facilities experience in senior living or multifamily residential property management.
• Experience managing budgets, purchasing, expense tracking, or cost control.
• Knowledge of building safety requirements and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Establish preventative maintenance programs and inspection routines.
• Develop maintenance work orders and documentation processes.
• Coordinate vendors, contracts, and maintenance services.
• Support resident move-ins and occupancy readiness.
• Manage department budgets and monitor expenses.
• Ensure building safety and regulatory compliance.
