Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities in Lower Gwynedd, PA, seeks a Life Engagement Assistant to support the Life Engagement Coordinator in planning and implementing programs and events that provide residents with Acts Signature Experience (ASE) focusing on body, mind and spirit.

You will ensure opportunities for meaningful engagement for residents across cognitive and functional levels, guided by Montessori-inspired principles and personal histories from My Story, within a supportive, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of activities/recreation experience.
• Dementia engagement certification (or willing to obtain within one year of employment).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist Life Engagement Coordinator in planning and implementing ASE programs and events for residents.
• Incorporate wellness, person-centered living, and hospitality into activities.
• Ensure meaningful engagement for residents across cognitive and functional levels using Montessori-inspired principles.
