Peregrine Senior Living is seeking an energetic Driver for Peregrine Senior Living at Guilderland, located in Slingerlands, NY. The role involves transporting residents to activities and appointments, assisting them in and out of the vehicle, and ensuring safety during every trip.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (preferred), and five or more years of driving experience with the ability to operate a 7–16 passenger bus. Generous benefits and a supportive team await.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of driving experience required.
• Able to operate a seven to sixteen passenger bus preferred.

Responsabilités

• Drive vehicle from community to social and other various destinations according to assigned schedule.
• Assist residents into and out of vehicle in a safe manner.
• Secure passengers’ wheelchairs and walkers to restraining devices to stabilize during trip.
• Practice safe driving techniques always.
• Clean and service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories and report and coordinate vehicle maintenance repairs.
• Works with Director of Activities to deliver creating and exciting Resident activities meeting individual needs and interests within the community.

Connaissances

Five years driving experience
