Job summary

Ivy Park at Belmont is seeking a dedicated Driver with a Class B or C license to transport residents and assist with activities. This full-time role runs Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30am–6pm, in Belmont, CA, with a pay range of $22.00–$23.00 per hour.

Candidates should be at least 21, with a HS diploma and passenger endorsement, and be prepared for background checks and health screenings. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, vacation, sick pay, meals, life insurance, a 401(k) match, and more.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement to drive the bus.
• Prefer two years of experience driving vehicles transporting people.
• Strong written and verbal communication with staff, residents, and families.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests including TB.
• May require vaccination and PPE per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate community vehicles safely on outings, excursions, and resident appointments.
• Assist with loading residents and belongings onto/off community vehicles.
• Follow all state and federal driving laws and vehicle inspection standards.
• Demonstrate safe driving and punctual transport of residents.
• Serve as activity staff during outings and maintain a safe environment.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
