Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Driver to safely operate community vehicles for outings and activities, while assisting with loading residents and ensuring a secure, on-time transport service.

The role requires a Class B or C license with Passenger Endorsement, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 2+ years’ experience preferred. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in a caring senior living environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement to drive the bus.
• Prefer two years of driving people in a vehicle/van/bus.

Responsibilities

• Operate community vehicles safely on outings, excursions, and resident appointments.
• Assist with loading residents and belongings onto/off of vehicles.
• Follow all state and federal laws when operating vehicles.
• Comply with vehicle inspection and safety standards; maintain punctual and safe transport.
• Act as a member of activity staff during outings and within the community.
• Maintain a safe environment for staff, residents, and guests; follow safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with coworkers and other departments.
