Ivy Park at Tustin, part of Ivy Living, is a premier senior living community in California. The Driver ensures safe operation of community vehicles and supervises residents during outings, supporting our mission and values.

This part-time role requires a Class B or C license with Passenger Endorsement, a high school diploma, and strong communication. Eligible benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and retirement plan opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement to drive the bus.
• Prefer two years of experience driving a vehicle/van/bus transporting people.
• Written and verbal communication skills to interact with staff, residents, and families.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including TB tests.
• Vaccination/testing and PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate community vehicles safely on outings, excursions, and resident appointments.
• Assist with loading residents and belongings onto/off of vehicles.
• Follow state and federal driving laws and vehicle inspection standards.
• Demonstrate safe, punctual, and secure transportation for residents.
• Act as part of the activity staff during outings and in the community.
• Maintain a safe environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
