Job summary

Ivy Park at Laguna Woods, a premier senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group, is seeking a Driver to safely operate the community’s vehicles and supervise residents during outings. The Driver may assist in setting up and breaking down activities in line with our mission and values.

The role requires at least 21 years old, a Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement, and the ability to pass background and health screenings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement to drive the bus.
• Prefer two years of experience driving a vehicle transporting people.
• Able to interact clearly with employees, supervisors, physicians and residents.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests including TB tests.
• May be required to follow vaccination and PPE guidelines per regulatory rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate community vehicles safely on outings and activities.
• Assist with loading residents and belongings onto/off vehicles.
• Follow state and federal driving laws and vehicle inspection standards.
• Demonstrate safe driving and punctual transportation of residents.
• Act as a member of activity staff during outings and within the community.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
