Kensington Senior Living is seeking a Director of Assisted Living for Kensington Park in Kensington, MD. This full-time role oversees all aspects of the Assisted Living neighborhood, including planning, organizing, developing, directing, and evaluating services for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in a similar position in assisted living.
• Criminal background check cleared in the state of employment.
• Health screening for tuberculosis prior to employment.
• Able to read/write English and follow instructions.
• Flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Participates in yearly business and budget planning for the Assisted Living department.
• Reviews move-in evaluations and resident data.
• Leads planning for nursing care, nutrition, and activities; conducts ISP meetings.
• Coordinates activities calendars with Directors of MC and IL; ensures staff participation.
• Meets with residents and families to discuss care, activities, and resolve issues.
• Monitors quality indicators and implements improvement plans.
• Represents Kensington Park in professional and community activities.
• Hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates neighborhood staff; communicates changes.
• Participates in workshops and professional development activities.
