Kensington Senior Living, LLC is seeking an experienced RN to join our Kensington Park community as Wellness Nurse. This full-time role supports the Director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing, and evaluating nursing care to ensure high-quality resident outcomes.

Based in Kensington, MD, the Wellness Nurse works in-person, collaborates with physicians, pharmacies, and home health providers, and supervisors nursing staff as needed.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, with preference for senior living or home care.
• Clear communication with people of all ages and abilities, positive attitude.
• Ability to read and write English and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff in the absence of the Director of Nursing Services.
• Assist in admissions evaluations and data collection for new residents.
• Plan individual resident nursing care with physicians and Directors of Nursing Services.
• Coordinate with pharmacy, hospice, home health agencies, and rehab providers.
• Ensure timely delivery of treatments and adherence to standards of care.
