MorningStar Senior Living in Rio Rancho, NM, is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to lead dining services in a senior living community. This full-time, non-exempt role requires supervising staff, ensuring high sanitation standards, and delivering compassionate resident-focused meals.

You will oversee scheduling, training, and daily operations, coordinate special events, and work closely with the Executive Chef and care team to meet residents' dietary needs and preferences.

Formación

• Minimum high school diploma.
• Minimum three years’ experience in senior living preferred.
• License/Certification: Dietician, ADA, Diet Technician, chef, and/or dietary manager.
• Knowledge of ADA, infection control, health department and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to supervise and manage, read/write and use mathematics; knowledge of menus, recipes, food purchasing, preparation and storage.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise food service and assist as necessary.
• Be present in dining rooms for full meal service.
• Attend daily manager stand-up meetings.
• Maintain high sanitation standards.
• Oversee bistro areas – food presentation, cleanliness, supplies.
• Hire, orient, train and supervise dietary department employees within a budget.
• Visit residents to gather information on food preferences.
• Maintain records such as meal census, diets served, and staffing patterns.
• Ensure that wait staff know the specials of the day and how they are prepared.
• Review resident diet information and care plans with care team.
