Qualifications

• Must possess a Food Service Manager Certificate and/or meet all regulatory requirements for Food Service Manager.
• Experience in dining services with management/leadership responsibility.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with residents and staff.
• Able to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly and carry heavy objects up to 20 feet.
• Must maintain knowledge of health regulations and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervises hiring, training, and evaluating dining staff.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen, dining, and storage areas.
• Directs meal preparation and serves residents and guests.
• Develops monthly menus meeting residents' dietary needs.
• Controls portions and monitors food waste and costs.
• Attends staff meetings and coordinates with maintenance for equipment.
• Plans and conducts monthly food committee meetings.
