Job summary

The Ashton on Dorsey, a Sonida Senior Living community in Louisville, KY, seeks a Culinary Services Director to lead dining operations and ensure high-quality food service for residents. You will plan, supervise, and improve culinary processes in collaboration with nursing staff, while maintaining standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include budgeting, inventory control, and daily cooking in the kitchen, plus leadership of the dining team and related educational opportunities

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience as an Executive Chef, Kitchen Manager, or Culinary Director in food service settings.
• Experience managing a culinary service department and staff.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for management, planning and directing the culinary service department and dining staff.
• Maintain food service standards, policies, equipment and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with nursing staff to meet residents' needs, as needed.
• Order supplies and manage inventory, ensuring budgetary guidelines are met.
• Must be willing and able to cook daily in the kitchen.
