The Aspenwood Company - Village On the Park Plano is seeking friendly Servers to provide exceptional dining room service to residents and guests in a senior living community. You will cover meals and events, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and timely service.

Candidates should have a customer-focused attitude, be able to follow instructions, and work well in a team. The position is full-time with availability on weekends and holidays, located at Village on the Park McKinney, TX.

Qualifications

• Must obtain accredited food handler certification within 60 days.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to one year of related experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service attitude and ability to interact well with staff, residents, and guests.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the dining room is spotless and beautifully set for all meals and events.
• Greet residents and guests with a smile and ensure seating arrangements.
• Take food orders, coordinate with kitchen staff, and deliver meals promptly.
• Maintain order accuracy and monitor food quality and presentation.
• Respond to resident and guest requests to ensure a top-notch dining experience.
• Pour and refill drinks in a timely manner.
• Adhere to food handling, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Assist with setting tables, clearing dishes, disposing of waste, and restocking.
• Remove walkers from dining area for safety and return after meals.
• Explain menu options and help residents/guests with selections.
• Maintain professional appearance and hygiene; attend in-service trainings.
