Job summary

Encore at Parkside is seeking a friendly Server to host residents and guests in our Independent Living dining room. You will take orders, serve meals, greet guests, and help ensure a welcoming, comfortable dining experience.

Responsibilities include table service, setting up for functions, maintaining sanitation and safety standards, and participating in training. High school diploma preferred; strong reading, writing, and speaking skills are important to communicate with residents and team

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong reading, writing and speaking communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Wait on assigned tables, take orders, set and bus tables.
• Ensure all shift duties are completed before the close of each shift.
• Set up and clean dining room for special functions.
• Understand menu items and specials to answer diners' questions.
• Greet all residents and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Adhere to sanitation and food handling protocols and safety policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and staff communications.
• Attend in-service training programs and report hazardous conditions.
• Prepare routine dining room setup for next day and for special occasions.
• Maintain high quality of service and effective communication with residents and team.
