Encore Parkside in Newark, DE is seeking servers to welcome and assist residents and guests in Independent Living. You will wait tables, take orders, and ensure a friendly, efficient dining experience while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Must follow sanitation guidelines, protect resident confidentiality, and participate in ongoing training to uphold service quality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilités

• Wait on assigned tables, take orders, and set/bus tables in the Dining Room.
• Ensure all shift duties are completed before closing.
• Set up and clean up for special functions.
• Know menu items and specials to answer diners’ questions.
• Greet residents and guests professionally.
• Follow sanitation and food handling protocols.
• Follow Encore Village safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Present a neat appearance and hygiene per procedures.
• Attend in-service training programs.
• Report hazardous conditions or equipment.
• Prepare routine dining room setup for next day or holidays.
• Maintain quality of service and good communication.
