Job summary

Monarch Communities Senior Living is seeking a part-time Dining Server to provide exceptional service and create a pleasant dining experience for Residents and guests. Take orders, serve meals, and assist with needs during service.

The role offers $17.00 per hour and requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in fine dining or senior living. Candidates should multitask well and enjoy working with seniors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED accepted or preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in fine dining hospitality or senior living.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and stay organized.
• Experience working with seniors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take residents’ dining orders in a friendly and attentive disposition.
• Learn residents’ names, special requests, and dietary restrictions.
• Ensure dining room is set up and all service items are available.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing dining areas, menus, and stations.
• Assist with preparation of beverages, snacks, desserts, and condiments.
• Assist residents with special dining requests.
• Ensure residents are accounted for during meals and document attendance.
• Participate in special events and in-service trainings.
• Adhere to all regulations and community policies; perform other duties as assigned.
