Monarch Communities is seeking a part-time server to inform residents of daily menu selections and professionally present and serve meals with a high level of customer service. The role includes maintaining a clean, welcoming dining room under supervisor direction.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and prior dining service experience; knowledge of state food-handling regulations is a plus. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in this environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in dining service preferred.
• Knowledge of state food-handling regulations helpful.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Greets and informs residents of menu selections.
• Report pertinent resident information to supervisor and respond to inquiries.
• Daily social interaction with memory care residents and ability to conduct programming.
• Cleans tables and resets for next meal seating.
• Vacuums carpet in dining room after each meal.
• Work cooperatively with the department and other departments.
