Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking part-time Dining Servers to deliver excellent customer service in a senior living community. The role involves taking orders, serving meals, and assisting with dining operations from 4pm to 8pm on multiple days.

The position emphasizes friendliness, attentiveness, and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities include remembering residents’ preferences, ensuring smooth service, and supporting events and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred/GED accepted.
• Minimum of one year experience in fine dining hospitality and/or full service senior living.

Responsibilities

• Take residents’ dining orders in a friendly and attentive disposition.
• Learn and retain residents’ names, special requests, and dietary restrictions.
• Ensure dining room is set up and all service items are readily available.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the dining room and related areas.
• Ensure safe food handling and assist with beverage/food preparation.
• Assist residents with special dining requests and document attendance.
• Participate in special events and in-service training, and follow all regulations.
