Cogir Senior Living in Utah is seeking a friendly Dining Server to provide exceptional dining experiences for our senior residents during meals and special events. You will ensure dietary needs and preferences are met while delivering professional, efficient service.

We offer a supportive environment, flexible schedules, and opportunities for growth; prior experience in hospitality or senior living is valued, and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Food Handler Card is a plus.
• 6-12 months in serving, hospitality or customer service is a plus.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare or hospitality is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a positive dining atmosphere.
• Take meal orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Ensure meals meet dietary requirements and preferences, including portion sizes and special requests.
• Serve meals with a smile and maintain a welcoming dining environment.
• Prepare the dining room before each meal by setting tables with linens, utensils, and glassware.
• Clear tables promptly after meals, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Reset tables for the next meal service.
• Communicate resident feedback and requests to the Culinary Director or kitchen staff.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and Cogir senior living standards.
• Ensure compliance with local health department regulations.
