Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our senior residents. You will provide friendly, professional, and efficient service during meals and events while accommodating dietary needs and preferences.

You will help maintain a welcoming dining environment, build relationships with residents, and contribute to a supportive, growth-oriented team culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; preferred but not required.
• Food Handler Card preferred.
• 6–12 months of experience in serving, hospitality, or customer service.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple tasks.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a positive dining atmosphere.
• Take meal orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Ensure meals meet residents' dietary requirements and preferences.
• Serve meals with a smile, maintaining a welcoming dining room.
• Set tables with linens, utensils, and glassware before meals.
• Clear and reset tables after each meal service.
• Communicate resident feedback to the Culinary Director or kitchen staff.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and Cogir standards.
• Comply with local health department regulations.
