Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Food Handler Card is a plus.
• 6–12 months of serving/hospitality experience is a plus.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly and create a positive dining atmosphere.
• Take meal orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Ensure meals meet residents' dietary needs and preferences with correct portions.
• Serve meals with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Prepare the dining room before meals by setting tables with linens and silverware.
• Clear tables promptly after meals and maintain cleanliness.
• Reset tables for the next service.
• Relay resident feedback to the Culinary Director or kitchen staff.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines and local health regulations.
• Adhere to Cogir senior living standards and policies.
