Job summary

Oakmont Senior Living in East Sacramento is seeking a friendly Server to join our premier senior living community. The position offers part-time or full-time hours with a pay range of $17 to $17.50 per hour and a benefits package. Training is provided and applicants must be at least 16 with a valid work permit.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not required; training is provided
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
• Able to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff
• Criminal background check and health screening tests required
• COVID-19 or other health precautions may be required per regulatory guidelines

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors courteously and professionally
• Take and enter food and beverage orders into the POS system
• Set up and break down tables
• Maintain proper serving techniques and etiquette
• Keep a safe and secure environment for staff and residents
• Encourage teamwork across departments
