Job summary

Oakmont of El Dorado Hills, part of Oakmont Management Group, is a premier senior living community in California. The Server position provides meals and service to residents in a friendly, respectful manner, supporting a warm dining experience aligned with our mission and values.

Responsibilities include taking orders, entering them into the POS, setting up and bussing tables, and maintaining a safe, courteous environment.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but training provided.
• Must be at least 16 years old with a work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to interact with residents, families, and staff.
• Criminal background check and health screening required.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Accurately and professionally take residents' and guests’ food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS (point of sale computer).
• Set up and break down (bus) tables.
• Assure compliance with all proper serving techniques/etiquette.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
