Job summary

The Residence at Orchard Grove, managed by LCB Senior Living, is seeking a Restaurant Operations Director in Shrewsbury, MA. This role oversees day-to-day kitchen and dining services to deliver a high-quality dining program for residents, while directing staffing and policies.

The position is full-time with a comprehensive benefits package and a compensation range of $85,000–$90,000 per year based on experience.

Qualifications

• Full knowledge of local and state health, sanitation, and safety codes.
• Serve Safe Certification required.
• Proficiency in food handling, preparation, cooking, service, and operation of kitchen equipment.
• Performs budget analysis and control.
• Proficiency in basic software applications.
• Writes and executes a seasonal menu.
• Responsible for dining room setup and proper table arrangement.
• Maintains high standards of food display around community spaces.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission and core values of the Residence and LCB Senior Living to residents and staff.
• Grow community occupancy by engaging with potential residents and families.
• Lead development and execution of strategies for labor, occupancy, expenses, and service quality.
• Interview, hire, orient, train, supervise and evaluate staff.
• Assess resident needs to prioritize ongoing staff evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and budgets.
• Assist in development of operating budgets and capital plans.
• Foster community and vendor relationships and maintain safety standards.
