Job summary

LCB Senior Living is seeking a Director of Restaurant Operations for The Residence at Ferry Park in Rocky Hill, CT. The role oversees day-to-day kitchen and dining services, staffing, and the dining program to deliver the highest quality resident dining.

You will plan, organize, and direct the Restaurant Operations department, develop policies, and ensure compliance with regulations. Leadership, budgeting, and vendor management are key to success.

Qualifications

• Full knowledge of local and state health and sanitation and safety codes.
• Serve Safe Certification.
• Provides direction to staff and creates plans/trainings to address development.
• Performs budget analysis and control.
• Writes and executes a menu for each season.
• Maintains dining room setup and table arrangements.
• Proficient in basic software applications.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission and core values of the Residence and LCB Senior Living to residents, visitors, staff and the community.
• Lead development and implementation of strategies for the community; communicate performance with Regional Director.
• Develop and implement strategies regarding labor, occupancy, expenses, and quality of services.
• Interview, hire, orient, train, supervise and evaluate subordinate staff.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Manage operating budgets and capital requirements; forecast expenses.
