Senior Living Residences, serving Armbrook Village in Westfield, MA, seeks a Director of Dining Experience to lead the culinary department, coordinate staff training, manage inventory, and oversee budgets. The role ensures meals meet high standards and residents enjoy a gracious dining experience.

Responsibilities include supervising operations, maintaining sanitation, and coordinating special meals and events in a senior living setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Culinary Arts or Restaurant Service, preferred.
• Food Safety certification, required.
• Experience cooking in a similar environment and ability to lead a team under pressure.
• Physical requirements: lifting trays and dishes, moving dining tables and furniture.
• Effective communication with residents and co-workers.
• Punctuality and reliability in serving residents' daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee entire culinary department operations and supervise all dining staff.
• Manage inventory of food, supplies and equipment, and control the budget.
• Prepare and serve meals and refreshments; oversee event setup.
• Ensure cleanliness and smooth functioning of kitchen and dining areas to provide a gracious dining experience.
