Job summary

EverTrue is seeking a Dietary Aide to help with dining service in skilled nursing and memory care settings. You will assist residents, help set up meals, and maintain clean dining areas with attention to dietary restrictions and safety.

The role requires basic cooking skills, knowledge of sanitation, and willingness to learn; certification in food safety and vaccination may be required by local regulations.

Qualifications

• One year of dietary aide experience preferred.
• Basic cooking skills and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe instructions and diet orders.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and handle interruptions.
• Certification in food safety handling or vaccination if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with food and beverage choices respecting dietary restrictions.
• Prepare dining room, meals, beverages and ensure proper temperatures and service timing.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and assist with cleanup and bussing.
• Record temperatures, product usage, waste and other HACCP logs as required.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards to supervisor promptly.
