EverTrue is hiring a Dietary Aide to support dining services in our skilled nursing and memory care communities. The role includes assisting residents with meal choices, meal prep, serving, and maintaining clean dining areas to ensure safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of dietary aide experience, basic cooking skills, and knowledge of sanitation. A food safety certification and Hepatitis A vaccine may be required depending on location.

Formación

• One year of dietary aide experience preferred.
• Basic cooking skills and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe instructions, diet orders, resident preference cards, and work assignments.
• Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Must be patient and tolerant with staff, residents, and family members.
• Must have or be willing to receive a recognized food safety handling certification.
• Must have or be willing to receive a Hepatitis A vaccine if working within St. Louis County.

Responsabilidades

• Assists residents with making appropriate food and beverage choices while ensuring options offered meet their dietary restrictions/orders.
• Performs defined work routines using dining service utensils, supplies, and equipment.
• Assists with dining service setup, including preparing meals and beverages and ensuring proper temperatures and timely service.
• Prepares dining rooms for next service, sets tables, refills condiments, and washes/ folds items.
• Cleans dining service areas and completes daily cleaning duties and waste management.
• Follows safety procedures and reports hazards or incidents.
• Maintains HACCP logs and product usage/waste records.
• Follows infection control procedures and proper handling of waste and cleaning agents.
