Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food service management, nutrition, or related field.
• CDM certification or eligibility required.
• 2+ years of healthcare or senior living dietary management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of nutrition standards and food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day food service operations ensuring dietary compliance and quality.
• Lead and develop the dietary team including cooks, aides, and nutrition staff.
• Foster resident engagement through responsive dining experiences.
• Plan menus with clinical teams to meet nutrition guidelines and special diets.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; maintain safe handling.
• Manage inventory and budgeting to meet cost targets while preserving quality.
• Promote a safe, sanitary kitchen and conduct regular inspections.
