Job summary

Kingsbridge House is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our culinary team and help provide nutritious meals for residents. You will support meal preparation, portioning, serving, and dining experiences in a compassionate environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining kitchen cleanliness, following food safety standards, assisting with inventory, and collaborating with the dietary team to meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a food service role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare, portion, and serve meals according to dietary plans.
• Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas; wash dishes and equipment.
• Provide meal assistance to residents and ensure a positive dining experience.
• Follow food safety protocols for storage, handling, and sanitation.
• Assist in receiving, storing, and tracking inventory.
• Collaborate with the dietary team to support meal service.
• Assist with fulfilling special dietary requests.
