Job summary

Lexington Park Assisted Living is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in the kitchen area before, during and after meals. The role includes maintaining clean work areas and equipment, assisting in serving meals and beverages, and helping the cook as needed.

You will follow safety regulations and infection control policies, ensure confidentiality of resident information, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the Community’s policies and procedures.
• Report abuse/neglect immediately to supervisors.
• Treat residents, family members, visitors and staff with dignity and respect.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and family information.
• Assist in serving meals and pouring beverages.
• Assist in meal preparation when needed.
