Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a Dietary Aide to perform a variety of food service functions, maintain sanitary conditions, assist in food preparation, and plate meals for residents. The role emphasizes following dietary guidelines for regular and special diets in a senior living environment, with opportunities for advancement in a supportive team setting.

This full-time position includes early morning and afternoon shifts (6am-2pm, 4pm-7:30pm) with standing duties and ability to lift up

Qualifications

• Strong ability to work independently and manage meal service for 20 residents.
• Some food service work experience required.
• Great communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Handle, transport and plate food for residents, guests and employees.
• Plate food according to the planned menu using standard recipes.
• Ensure freshness, cooking status and proper temperature of all food being served.
• Maintain daily logs, postings and documentation required for meal services.
• Stocks and cleans station for next shift.
• Follows proper food rotation policies and sanitation procedures.
