CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support meal service for residents in the evenings. You will prepare, plate, and portion meals according to menus and recipes, while maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to work independently and manage meal service for residents.
• Some food service work experience required.
• Great communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Handle, transport and plate food for residents, guests and employees.
• Plate food according to the planned menu using standard recipes.
• Plate food items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed and perform duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure sufficient food is prepped and/or prepared.
• Communicate shortages or outages to supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Set up service line and prepare for meal service.
• Wash, sanitize and properly store dishes and utensils.
