Job summary

The SR Companies is seeking a dedicated dining services aide to support residents, families, and guests in Artful Dining. You will assist with food preparation, serve meals, and keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and safe in line with sanitation and HIPAA regulations.

Under supervision, you will work as part of a team, follow established policies, attend trainings, and dress in the required attire. A high school diploma or GED is expected, with related experience welcomed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Reasoning ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation according to the established menu.
• Serve residents in the dining room at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Maintain clean, safe kitchen and dining areas; follow sanitation procedures.
• Follow HIPAA regulations and protect resident privacy.
• Attend trainings, in-service meetings, and mandatory meetings.
• Demonstrate a positive and respectful attitude toward residents, families, visitors, associates, and management.
