Job summary

The SR Companies is seeking a dining services assistant to enhance the SRIM dining experience for residents, families, and guests. You will assist with food preparation, serve meals, and maintain a clean, safe dining environment under supervision.

You will follow sanitation, safety, and cleaning procedures, respond to residents' requests, and support a dignified, caring atmosphere. Training may be provided for new staff and you must adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information to individuals or small groups.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation according to the established menu.
• Serve residents in the dining room at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Clean kitchen, dining areas, and food storage spaces daily.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents and staff.
• Respond promptly to residents' and families' requests for assistance.
• Follow HIPAA regulations and privacy guidelines.
• Train new dining service staff when necessary.
• Attend trainings and meetings as required.
