The Landings of Albemarle is seeking an experienced Cook to join our culinary team and prepare nutritious, high-quality meals for residents.

Responsibilities include following menu plans, ensuring meals meet dietary requirements, maintaining a sanitary kitchen, and collaborating with the Dietary Manager and staff. This role emphasizes timely service, accuracy, and compassionate care for our residents.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior cooking experience in senior living, healthcare, or restaurant setting preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to follow recipes and meal plans.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook meals according to menu plans, ensuring nutrition and dietary requirements.
• Serve meals in a timely manner with quality, portion control, and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen environment following safety procedures.
• Collaborate with Dietary Manager and staff; assist in training new kitchen staff.
• Assist with inventory management and report shortages or needs.
• Respond to special dietary requests and accommodate preferences.
