• Prepare and cook meals according to menus, meeting dietary requirements and resident preferences.
• Serve meals in a timely manner with quality, portion control and presentation in mind.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen following food safety procedures.
• Collaborate with the Dietary Manager and kitchen staff; assist in training new staff.
• Assist with inventory management and report shortages or ordering needs.
• Respond to special dietary requests and accommodate resident preferences.
