Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a Cook to join our team and provide delicious, healthy meals for residents. You will follow federal, state, and local guidelines and Benchmark policies to ensure quality dining experiences.

Responsibilities include safely operating kitchen equipment, establishing efficient meal prep lines, and presenting meals with high-quality presentation for residents and families. This is a schedule-stable role with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Culinary Arts training preferred.
• 2 years of dietary experience.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures and related laws and guidelines.
• Ability to lead and supervise staff.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and prepares meals to provide nutritious, high-quality presentations.
• Operates kitchen equipment safely (slicers, mixers, ovens, grills, steamers, etc.).
• Sets up food production lines to ensure timely meal prep.
• Represents the community with a positive attitude to residents and families.
• Prepares and serves meals according to Benchmark policies and resident needs.
