Job summary

Grace Management, Inc. is seeking a Cook for its senior living community in Myrtle Beach, SC to prepare wholesome, nutritious meals served at the correct temperatures. The Cook will report to the Dining Services Director and work as part of a team to maintain a clean, safe kitchen.

Minimum two years cooking experience, preferably in healthcare or hospitality. High School Diploma or GED required; Serv-Safe certification preferred; must communicate effectively in English and meet safety

Qualifications

• Minimum two years cooking experience preferably within healthcare or hospitality.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve all food items using high quality ingredients and appropriate garnishes.
• Record and monitor food temperatures during storage, preparation, cooking, and serving.
• Label, date, and properly store all foods.
• Monitor and record temperatures of all kitchen refrigerators and freezers daily.
