Job summary

Grace Management, Inc. is seeking a Cook to provide wholesome, nutritious meals for residents in a senior living community. You will report to the Dining Services Director and ensure food quality, temperature, and presentation.

Responsibilities include using recipes and portion sizes to control costs, labeling and dating foods, and maintaining sanitary kitchen conditions while collaborating with a team to deliver a pleasant dining experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years cooking experience, preferably in healthcare or hospitality.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.
• Must have Fingerprint Clearance Card and ability to pass drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve all food items using high quality ingredients and appropriate garnishes.
• Record and monitor food temperatures during storage, preparation, cooking, and serving.
• Label, date, and properly store all foods; maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety.
