Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare meals for residents in a compassionate, dining-focused environment. You will follow standardized recipes and menus, ensure quality, taste, and presentation, and comply with dietary modifications and safety standards.

You will record production quantities and temperatures, stock and rotate ingredients, maintain a clean kitchen, and support dishwashing and dining service as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
