Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality meals for residents in a safe, clean kitchen environment. You will follow standardized recipes, monitor food quality and presentation, and accommodate dietary modifications.

You will record quantities and temperatures, stock and rotate food, and maintain sanitation across the kitchen and storage areas. You may assist with dishwashing and dining service as needed, and you may lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation and meal service.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and menus.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards.
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements.
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures.
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations.
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas.
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines.
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed.
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator.
