You will adapt recipes for dietary needs, manage supplies, and help keep the kitchen clean and organized. The role emphasizes teamwork, compliance with health standards, and contributing to a positive resident experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cooking experience in senior living, healthcare, or restaurant setting.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Knowledge of food safety and dietary guidelines.
• Ability to operate kitchen appliances and equipment.
• Promotes teamwork in serving residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals for residents with attention to quality and presentation.
• Alter or adapt recipes to accommodate special dining needs of residents.
• Ensure proper handling, labeling and storage of food for infection control.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and kitchen/storage areas.
• Record temperatures and assist with menu planning.
