Dial in Boulder, CO is hiring a Cook to independently prepare meals and manage food production for residents, supporting the Sous or Executive Chef in maintaining high food quality and safety standards.

The role involves preparing and cooking meals, adapting recipes for dietary needs, maintaining plate presentation, and ensuring proper storage and temperature checks. 18+ and 2+ years’ experience required; ServeSafe preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2+ years of cooking experience in senior living, healthcare, or restaurant setting.
• ServeSafe or equivalent certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals for residents with attention to quality and presentation.
• Alter or adapt recipes to accommodate special dining needs of residents or to improve recipes.
• Ensure attractive presentation of food on the plate before serving.
• Identify food and supplies needed for the next week’s menus and report to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and kitchen/storage areas.
• Record cooler, freezer and dish machine temperatures in the TELS website.
