Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Cook to support the Kitchen Manager and prepare meals for residents in a restaurant-style dining setting called the “Bread Basket.” You will follow menus, serve meals, and maintain kitchen cleanliness while interacting with residents to enhance their dining experience.

Responsibilities include following daily task guides, managing dietary needs, and coordinating with the Kitchen Manager for tours and events.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following Bickford’s menus, processes, and expectations.
• Serve food timely, at the correct temperatures, and appropriately plated.
• Ensure Bickford’s process is followed during meal service.
• Interact with residents in the Dining Room during meals to enhance their dining experience.
• Wash dishes, pots, and pans following Bickford’s dishwashing procedure.
• Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide.
• Maintain food service records for diets, allergies, and preferences.
• Store food per regulatory requirements and policies.
• Complete tasks from the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
• Maintain kitchen and dining area cleanliness and stock refreshments for tours/events.
