Job summary

Danbury Senior Living is seeking a full-time Cook to prepare appetizers, meals, desserts, snacks, and special event foods under the direction of the Executive Chef. You may also assist in serving meals and supporting kitchen operations as needed.

Required: one-year cook or dietary experience; senior living or nursing facility experience is a plus. A cheerful disposition, patience, and genuine love of seniors are essential to thrive in our family-like culture.

• One-year cook or dietary experience.
• Senior living, assisted living, nursing facility experience is helpful but not required.
• A great outlook, cheerful disposition, patience, and love of seniors are a must.

Responsibilities

• Cooks prepare appetizers, meals, desserts, snacks, and special events foods under the direction of the Executive Chef. Cooks also assist in serving meals as necessary and perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
