Job summary

Creative Dining Services is seeking a Full Time Cook for Royal Park Place Atrium in Zeeland, MI. You’ll prepare meals from scratch, manage batch and to-order cooking, and ensure high quality for our senior dining program. A $300 signing bonus applies after 60 days on the job.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of relevant experience, ServSafe preferred, and a HS diploma or equivalent. Weekend availability required; benefits include health options, retirement plans, and more.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years batch and to order cooking experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
• Ability to cook from scratch, prepare soups and various proteins.

Responsibilities

• Time food production so dishes are ready at service with quality and freshness.
• Use batch cooking to manage output and avoid over/under production.
• Follow safe handling, labeling and dating of food items.
• Maintain production records and clean, sanitized area.
• Open/close kitchen as needed and manage equipment.
• Keep a safe, tidy, organized work environment at all times.
• Support other kitchen staff and communicate effectively.
• Assist with ordering and inventory procedures.
